Long Term & Short Term Parking

At Black Bear Resort, we understand that convenient and secure parking is essential for your Appalachian Trail adventure, whether you're stopping by for a night or embarking on an extended journey. We offer both short-term and long-term parking options to suit your needs.

Short-Term Parking: For those popping in for a quick rest or resupply, our short-term parking is available at no additional cost with your stay. Located just steps from the hostel, it's perfect for overnight guests or day visitors looking to explore the nearby AT trailheads around Hampton. Space is ample for up to 15 vehicles, ensuring easy access during your brief stopover. Please note that short-term parking is limited to the duration of your stay, unless prior arrangements are made.

Long-Term Parking: Planning a multi-day section hike or a thru-hike? Our long-term parking option has you covered. For a small fee of $5 per day, you can leave your vehicle in our designated lot, conveniently situated on-site with clear visibility from the resort for added peace of mind. We're just minutes from the Dennis Cove tail head of the AT, making it easy to start your trek and return to your car when you're done. Long-term parking is available for up to 7 days—ideal for those tackling longer stretches of the trail. For stays beyond 7 days, please contact us to arrange a custom plan.

While we strive to keep your vehicle safe, Black Bear Resort is not responsible for any damage or theft, so we recommend removing valuables before you hit the trail.

Whether you're here for a night or a week, our parking options are designed to make your stay as hassle-free as possible. Questions? Give us a call, and we'll help you plan your visit to Black Bear Resort!
